AOK company run: Precision wins the race

The motivating motto on the back of our running shirts attracted attention. For our wearer and fellow runner Tanja, it has also come true - after all, she was first in her age group and won the race!

Around 700 runners took part in the race, almost twice as many as in the first run in the previous year. However, the dense crowd increasingly unravelled in the further course of the route of approximately 5 kilometres.

Our trainee Bilal Mahdjane (front right) ran the best time of the Klingel team and reached the finish line after 20:50 minutes.

At the end, the successful first time got a thumbs up; some colleagues had come to support and cheer us on from the fence. The weather was great, and so there were mostly sunny sections along the beautiful and varied route through the park.

Altogether, the count was around 700 participants from the entire region. Several prominent faces were to be found among the participants, including mayor for sports Monika Müller, Enzkreis finance director Frank Stephan, Sparkasse chief executive Stephan Scholl and PZ editor-in-chief Magnus Schlecht. After the finish, the runners were offered free beverages and fruit.
